The Medical Insurance Claims Supervisor is responsible for managing the medical claims process, ensuring claims are processed and settled efficiently and accurately in accordance with health insurance policies and approved regulations. He also supervises claims processing teams to ensure the organization's operational objectives are met.
Job requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health insurance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience working in hospitals in medical insurance claims management.
- Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of health insurance policies and claims processes.
- Skills in data analysis and detecting errors in billing and claims.
- Ability to manage teams and oversee operations.
- Strong negotiation skills with insurance companies to resolve disputes.
